Brainspotting
Brainspotting Therapy for Deep Healing and Emotional Release
Brainspotting is a powerful, trauma-informed therapy that gently taps into the brain’s natural ability to process deep emotions, trauma, and stress. It’s especially helpful for those feeling “stuck,” emotionally blocked, or haunted by past experiences that talk therapy alone hasn’t been able to fully resolve.
Brainspotting can support you if you:
Feel emotionally “stuck” despite trying other forms of therapy
Have experienced childhood trauma or relational wounds
Struggle with anxiety, depression, or self-doubt
Notice physical tension, body pain, or exhaustion that feels linked to stress
Want to move beyond words and access deeper healing
Developed by David Grand, Ph.D., Brainspotting uses your visual field — where your eyes naturally rest — to help you access unprocessed trauma and emotional pain. By focusing on a specific eye position, we can bypass the thinking mind and help your body and brain safely process what was left unresolved.

Our sessions will feel gentle and collaborative.
You’ll choose a comfortable position, and I’ll help you find an eye position — a “brainspot” — that connects to what you want to explore. From there, we allow your inner process to unfold at your pace. Some people notice emotions or sensations arising; others see images or gain new insights. Every session is unique, and we’ll go as slowly as you need. -
Trauma and deep emotions live in the deeper, subcortical parts of the brain — areas that traditional talk therapy doesn’t always reach. Brainspotting bypasses your usual defenses and allows your brain and body to naturally do what they do best: integrate, process, and heal.
